myOneLogin Federation Delivers Rapid Identity Federation for eXpresso

Award-winning SaaS provider expands reach with standards-based federation, implemented in hours

LOS GATOS, Calif. (June 8, 2009) — TriCipher, the on-demand identity assurance and management company, announced that eXpresso Corp. (www.expressocorp.com) is using TriCipher's myOneLogin Federation solution to help the company federate identities in its award-winning document collaboration solution. myOneLogin Federation makes it easy, quick and cheap for application builders and SaaS providers to add federation support to their applications.

"eXpresso connects people and documents to support business processes within and across enterprise boundaries. Using identity federation, we broaden our market, allowing trusted partners and clients to provision and sign-on their users to the eXpresso service from their own online portals," said Gavin Harvett, VP of Product Marketing at eXpresso Corp. "It took about half a day to implement SAML federation using myOneLogin Federation. And because myOneLogin supports multiple federation standards, we can easily connect with different partners and enterprise customers."

eXpresso is an on-demand, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application that enables business users to share and collaborate on Microsoft® Office documents from any location. With identity federation, eXpresso can participate in partners' online communities and integrate with enterprise identity management solutions at larger customer sites. myOneLogin Federation supports SAML and ADFS federation standards, and is accessed from Web applications using simple Web services calls. Web application builders do not have to buy software, undergo extensive training or make significant application changes.

TriCipher's core myOneLogin solution delivers a single, secure on-demand gateway for hundreds of Web-based applications, implementing controls where employees would otherwise bypass corporate data identity and compliance mandates. The technology supports all existing governance standards and is the only strong authentication SSO solution delivered as a service. This unique architecture:

  • Eliminates the time and costs to install authentication hardware and software.
  • Gives users access to all Web applications from any location and any computer.
  • Protects access to confidential data wherever it resides.

myOneLogin offers scalable levels of protection and works with any Web-based application that uses federation standards or a routine username and password. The technology helps businesses automatically provision and de-provision online applications users – saving money on unused applications and protecting companies from unauthorized application access. TriCipher technology is deployed across several core verticals including electronic payment networks, financial services, healthcare and technology.

"eXpresso has built a successful business leveraging the power of the Web for collaboration," says Jack Martin, VP of Worldwide Field Operations at TriCipher. "myOneLogin Federation is a perfect fit for eXpresso, enabling easy identity federation with partners, while delivering the cost and speed benefits of the SaaS model."
